Tailgate Kickoff Party on 10/20/2024
The Burnet Democratic Club supports our public school teachers! Guy Stuart, Democratic Party chair, Martha Van Vleck, Karen Mohan, and Jimmie Rushing show some of the prepared baskets of individually wrapped healthy snacks placed in all 12 Burnet County Elementary and Jr. High teacher’s lounges. Thank you all volunteers!
Marble Falls Canvasing 10/6/2024- Meadow Lakes- Block Walk
The August social event at Wedding Oak was a success. Susan Criss SDEC CD 31 for Burnet County gave a great talk on the history of Democratic politics in Texas. We even had a lady of the young age of 64 showed up to register to vote, as she had never voted before, ever! She is now registered, and she even stayed for the entire meeting.
Everyone attending had an opportunity to sign-up, and commit to doing something for this 2024 election. All the post cards were taken, and sign-up sheets to call and knock on doors were full or almost full. A wonderful and productive meeting.
The sixty folks in attendance at the social were treated to home grown music and the ballad “We're Not Going Back Video”
The Ice Cream Social in July was a HUGE Success with a full house to scoop and hear the latest BCDC news!
