GOING TO VOTE?

You will need to bring one form of personal photo identification with you, such as a:  
 

  •  Texas driver's license

  •  Texas handgun license

  •  Texas election ID certificate

  •  Texas personal ID card

  •  US citizenship certificate

  •  US military ID card

  •  US passport

DON'T HAVE ANY OF THOSE?
 

The new acceptable forms of identification are a copy
or original of the following: 

​

  • a government document showing your name,  address and voter registration certificate
     

  • current utility bill
     

  • bank statement
     

  • a government check (originals only)
     

  • paycheck (originals only)
     

  • (a) a certified domestic (U.S. state or territory)
    birth certificate or (b) a document confirming
    birth admissible in a court of law that establishes
    identity (includes a foreign birth document)

After presenting one of these forms of ID, you
must sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.

VOTERS AGE 18-69

can use a photo ID that expired within the last 4 years.

VOTERS AGE  70+

can use a photo ID that expired at any time if it's otherwise valid.
